Post-Op Expectations
Early Recovery Swelling and soreness are expected after surgery. First Few Weeks The breasts gradually settle while the incisions heal. 6 Weeks The breasts continue to settle and mature as scars gradually fade. This should be a dedicated visual comparison on the page. Breast Lift Lifts and reshapes sagging breasts but does not significantly increase breast size. Breast Augmentation Adds volume and fullness using implants or fat transfer. Lift + Augmentation Can both elevate the breast and restore lost volume.
Rest at home with your head elevated. Swelling and bruising are at their peak - this is completely normal.
Splint and most sutures are removed. Most patients return to desk-based work and social activities by day 10.
Light walking is encouraged. Avoid strenuous exercise, swimming, and direct sun exposure to the nose.
Majority of swelling has resolved. The new shape is clearly visible and continues to refine.
Residual swelling - especially at the tip - fully resolves. Your final result is fully visible.
