Arm lift, also referred to as brachioplasty, is a procedure done to remove excess skin from the upper arm. The skin on the arms loses its elasticity as a result of natural aging or rapid weight loss. An arm lift involves a surgical procedure and is performed under general anesthetic. There will be sutures on the inner surface of the arm which will eventually be camouflaged under clothes. An overnight stay might be required. It may take a week to return to work.
